Pro-Silway MK III+

Another significant improvement to the world-reknowned Pro-Silway MK link of interconnects has just been realized with the release of the Pro-Silway MK III +. This new interconnect provides even more extension on the high and low ends and is a top quality, professional-grade interconnect.

As with Harmonic Technology's complete line of audio and video cables, the Pro-Silway MK III + utilizes a unique blend of the finest high purity Single Crystal? silver (99.99997%) and Single Crystal? copper (99.9997%) conductors. The braided outer shield consists of pure silver plated on cooper to isolate the delicate signals from RFI interference. In addition, Harmonic Technology's Pro-Silway MK III + provides an aluminum-coated Mylar shield, situated closer to the conductors, to ensure the highest signal-to-noise ration. This twin-shield design provides the ultimate clarity and three-dimensional imaging for a velvety background of silence due to the elimination of electromagnetic interference, such as RFI, digital noise or A.C.-generated hums. All insulation within the Pro-Silway MK III + consists of either Teflon tape or air-foamed PE (polyethylene - air bubbles that are used as the main dielectric insulation). Although very expensive to produce, air-foamed PE has the best dielectric constant of any generally available material, producing better clarity. The conduction wire used in the Pro-Silway MK III + is a bi-metal hybrid that consists of four filaments to optimize both bass and treble frequencies.

The performance of the Pro-Silway MK III + still provides extreme detail retrieval, but without treble emphasis or glare associated with other silver cables. High frequencies are reproduced with a smooth, natural tone that is neither bright nor soft. Especially in the highs, Harmonic Technology's Pro-Silway MK III + exhibits more "air and space" than any other design we have tested. The low-level detail including spatial retrieval is incredible, allowing you to hear more deeply into the soundstage than ever before.
