The Audio Electronics PH-1 is a Class A, single-ended triode phono preamplifier designed and built in North Carolina. This hand-made, Moving-Magnet/High-Output Moving Coil phonostage is remarkable in its ability to unravel the most complex musical passages and pull so much more detail from the grooves of any record.

The PH-1 is a point-to-point wired, all-tube design using the finest low noise, 1% metal film resistors, polypropylene capacitors and ceramic sockets. This phono preamplifier is of the highest quality. The RIAA equalization curve is derived from a passive circuit located between two 6SL7 gain stages. The signal is then direct coupled to a low impedance 12AU7 buffer output stage. The PH-1 has an input impedance of 47k for use with all moving magnet and high-output moving coil cartridges.
